Home-made porcini mushroom pasta on a wild herb sauce served with rabbit, pike-perch fillet drizzled with almond butter and "Grandma's" "Rote Grütze" red berry compote with vanilla sauce – our head chef Daniel Krieger pampers you with a sophisticated creative menu. International cuisine and regional and seasonal dishes, such as herring, chanterelle mushrooms, game, kale and asparagus, await you in our stylish hotel restaurant. Dine in the Gute Stube or the Biedermeier-Eck

The highlight of our restaurant is its versatility of style and atmosphere: The Grand City Hotel Gummersbach boasts 6 different rooms – to suit every taste. You decide whether to enjoy your aperitif in the traditional Kaminzimmer, dine in style in the Biedermeier-Ecke, choose the Kajüte for a quick snack, before bringing the evening to a close in the Gute Stube. In summer, the sun terrace offers an unadulterated view of the park and invites you to enjoy a cool bier in the open air.

Breakfast restaurant for early birds and late risers

The hearty breakfast buffet takes place in our beautiful Kristallsaal. We offer you a broad selection to give you a perfect start to the day. You will find muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt and quark dishes on the table. Fresh egg dishes, crisp fresh bread rolls and hearty wholemeal bread, along with a variety of cold meats and cheeses, honey and jams round off the offering. It is accompanied by freshly-brewed tea and coffee, fruit juice and water. A smile and a friendly word from our staff is also part of a good breakfast at the Grand City Hotel Gummersbach.
